Code of Conduct
As an AMFI-Registered Mutual Fund Distributor and IRDAI Licensed Insurance Agent, Honest Investment Hub operates under the distributor conduct standards set out by AMFI and IRDAI. Here is how we apply those standards in practice.
Investor Interest Comes First
We place your financial goals ahead of any commission consideration when recommending a mutual fund, insurance policy, or fixed-income product.
Know Your Client, Properly
We complete KYC and a genuine risk-profiling conversation before onboarding you, so recommendations match your time horizon and risk appetite rather than a generic pitch.
Needs-Based Solicitation Only
We do not push products you don't need. Every mutual fund or insurance suggestion is tied to a gap or goal we've discussed with you directly.
No Assured-Return Promises
We never guarantee returns on market-linked products. Illustrations shown on our calculators are for estimation only and are clearly marked as such.
Full Commission Transparency
Trail commission earned from AMCs and insurers is disclosed on request, in line with AMFI circulars. We do not charge clients a separate advisory fee for distribution services.
No Rebating
We do not offer cashback, gifts, or commission rebates to induce an investment — a practice barred under AMFI's Code of Conduct for distributors.
Anti-Churning Discipline
We avoid recommending frequent fund switches purely to regenerate commission. Switch advice is given only for a genuine change in your goals or a material shift in scheme performance/mandate.
Confidentiality of Client Data
Your KYC documents, folio details, and financial information are used only to service your investments and are not shared with unrelated third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Fair Grievance Handling
Every complaint is logged and addressed by our Grievance Officer within a committed resolution window, with a clear path to escalate to SEBI, IRDAI, or AMFI if you remain unsatisfied.
Ongoing Regulatory Compliance
Our team keeps its AMFI/NISM certification and IRDAI licence current, and follows updated SEBI, AMFI, and IRDAI circulars as they are issued.
This Code of Conduct supplements, and does not replace, the official conduct rules issued by AMFI, SEBI, and IRDAI, which take precedence in the event of any conflict. For the full statutory picture of our registrations and disclosures, see our Statutory Disclosures page.
